Evening Flight

A line of seabirds sweeps low over the water in this warm panoramic sunset, the sky layered in soft peach, gold, and pale blue above a gently breaking sea. Loose, glowing brushwork blurs the horizon, making the birds appear to glide through the fading light. The long format emphasizes the broad horizon and gives the sky and water room to stretch across the composition. Above a sofa, bed, or sideboard, it brings a wide wash of sunset color to the wall.
