Scattered Rainbows

Scattered Rainbows

Loose vertical brushstrokes in soft green, blue, tan, pink, gray, and black stand against a clean cream ground, bringing a relaxed touch of color to the composition. Slight variations in each mark give the piece a hand-painted character, while the generous space between the colors keeps it feeling light and contemporary. Sampled bar by bar, color is really the whole subject here, with plenty of quiet cream holding it all together.
